I owned this unit for slightly under a year (October 2007 - July 2008) and it worked pretty well as far as range and strength of the signal are concerned.Wireless died July 2008 and after several calls to different numbers, Cisco customer service asked that I pay an additional $30 for a software upgrade on an item that was supposed to be under warranty.Buyer beware. This is my only experience with CISCO and my last (if I can help it).
Only main problem is every once in a while you have to reset it. Very easy to install and configure, even for a novice. Great signal strength, even from the basement and I am 2 stories up.
We should of purchase two months ago, but kept putting it off, trying to use diffant things to save a few bucks. It's a great product to be used with any modem. We ended up spending more time in than anything.Buy this product, you'll be satisfied.
I give it 5 stars. I have had good luck with them, and im satisfied with the strength of the wireless signal they provide. I have 2 of these routers. One for my office, and one for home. For the money they are a good choice, and i recommend them for anyone who wants to go wireless.
Good at performance.Faced problems while initial setup. Linksys WRT54G Wireless-G Router this router is functioning well. This caused some time waste.Other than that, I am recommonding this router.
