This product is cheaper but in my experience dont work with good signal, sometimes my laptops loose the signal in small space, maybe are designed to work in very small distance. But i use it in my home and dont work like i wish
This is a very reliable product. No problems with the one I already have and set up was a breeze.
I did have to use linksys support and got awesome help thru their chat support. I have it in my garage thru cement walls in the house and even out to my backyard I have an excellent signal. I couldnt be happier. I bought this item because I read reviews that said it works for my fiber in the loop (ifitl) dsl. It is awesome. I was so glad I never had to call anyone, they diagnosed the issue and mailed me the steps to setup and resetup when I had a problem.
Will recommend to anyone looking for a wireless router. I've owned one for almost a year and never had any trouble with it. Excellent product. Great quality for the price. The set up was a breeze and it works like a charm.
Is this a perfect example of Cisco products.certainly designed for obsolescence. I wouldn't want anyone to waste as much time as I have fiddling with it. Part of the problem is may be MS and my wireless G constantly fighting for control. I don't know what has happened - it's never been easy to set up but now it is absolutely impossible to connect using this router, the same computer and wireless adapter.everything is exactly the same. I absolutely will never buy another Linksys product as they don't stand behind what they sell or update.
This has got to be the worst software and web support ever. Now the website associated with this particular router is no longer in existance. They have never offered a single update and force you to use Internet Explorer for the initial setup. This one is going in the trash. I have had this router about two years and have had to re-do it twice.
One day last week I just got bumped. I can't believe I've spent four days trying to set this up again.
